Driver caught doing 177km/h on motorway, over alcohol limit and on drugs

Limassol Traffic Police arrested a 34-year-old driver at around 11:10 pm on Thursday after clocking him at more than double the speed limit on a bypass road, and finding him over the alcohol limit and under the influence of drugs.

According to case details, the driver was travelling at 177km/h in an 80km/h zone. A breath test showed an alcohol reading of 29μg, above the legal limit of 22μg, and he was also found to be under the influence of drugs....
