Women protest alleged abductions in Nairobi

Kenyan women, human rights activists and mothers of missing young men cry during a women-led protest march against alleged abductions and enforced disappearances through the streets of Nairobi, Kenya, 06 August 2026. The demonstrators call for information on missing young men from Mathare, Huruma and Kiamaiko whose alleged disappearances they attribute to security officers, and demand an end to abductions, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings in Kenya.
