We spit on whoever we like and owe no one an explanation

No one should be rushing to condemn anyone on matters they do not properly understand — on investigations they have not read, on issues they do not grasp.

But everyone is entitled to an opinion on what they read or hear. As if we are going to wait for a judge to decide before we think our own thoughts. Of course not. We know full well, however, that if we publicly damage reputations and smear people without evidence, we may one day find ourselves in the dock. And quite right too....
