UCy revises down 2026 growth, 2027 forecast unchanged

Real GDP growth in Cyprus is expected to slow from 3.8% in 2025 to 2.7% this year and to strengthen to 3.1% next year, according to the latest quarterly outlook by the University of Cyprus.

Relative to the April issue of the university’s Economics Research Centre, the growth forecast for 2026 has been revised down by 0.2 percentage points, while the forecast for 2027 has remained unchanged....
