Two face Larnaca court over Kornos forest fire started by fireworks

A man and a woman aged 26 and 28 have been sent for immediate trial over a fire that broke out near woodland at Kornos after they were seen letting off fireworks, and will stay in custody until the case is heard.

The Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court will sit on October 21. The prosecution asked for the two to be remanded, their lawyers objected, and the court rejected the objection....
