Boy, 4, brain dead after treatment errors, mother claims

The State Health Services Organisation (SHSO) is investigating a serious complaint involving a 4-year-old patient, after the child’s mother spoke publicly, alleging delays by doctors that she says have left her son, now hospitalised for around two weeks with symptoms of meningitis, brain dead.

According to the mother, the boy was first taken by his parents to Limassol General Hospital, and from there transferred to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia after his condition worsened....
