Police constable driving without insurance, over alcohol limit, in Nicosia crash that burned two cars (video)

An off-duty special constable crashed into two other vehicles at the roundabout outside Nicosia General Hospital this morning, in a collision that left two cars destroyed by fire, police said.

The three-car crash happened around 8am. The 44-year-old special constable, who was off duty, was driving under circumstances still under investigation by police when his car struck a vehicle ahead of him, driven by a 43-year-old woman.
