Paphos nears 40,000 civil weddings as foreign couples keep picking it

Paphos Municipality has married off more than 36,000 couples at its Civil Marriages Office and now expects to reach 40,000 in the near future, after another strong season.

The municipality passed the 36,000 mark before this year’s season began. It says the figure reflects the trust thousands of couples from around the world have shown in Paphos, choosing it as the place to start their life together....
