Paphos man, 59, gets six years for shooting wife in Peyia

The Criminal Court in Paphos sentenced a 59-year-old man to concurrent prison terms, the longest of which is six years, on Monday, after he shot his wife twice outside their home in Peyia in January 2025.

The defendant shot the victim, then aged 46, twice with a hunting weapon, seriously injuring her. She was hospitalised at the time. The couple have since divorced....
