Overturned lorry closes both lanes of Nicosia Limassol highway

Both lanes of the Nicosia-Limassol highway were closed for several hours on Thursday afternoon after a lorry carrying gravel overturned, spilling its load across the road and causing major traffic disruption.

One lane of the highway – in the Nicosia direction – finally opened at around 9pm. The other lane was expected to open around 11pm, police said....
