Nicosia roads closed ahead of October 28 parade as yellow weather warning in effect

Several roads in central Nicosia will close to traffic on Wednesday morning for a doxology at the Cathedral of Apostle Barnabas at the Archbishopric and the parade marking the 28 October anniversary.

Parking has been banned since midnight in Archbishopric Square and on Korai, Isokratous, Zenonos Kitieos and Michalaki Karaoli streets. The ban also covers Konstantinou Palaiologou, Omirou, Vyronos and Evagorou avenues....
