Motorcyclist hits pedestrian in Nicosia, leaving woman seriously injured

A 22-year-old motorcyclist struck and seriously injured a 50-year-old pedestrian on Limassol Avenue in Nicosia on Wednesday evening, police said.

The collision occurred at around 7:30 pm. The woman was attempting to cross the road when the motorcycle hit her under circumstances that are still being investigated. She was taken to Nicosia General Hospital....
