Mostly clear skies today as temperatures hit 39C inland

After the morning’s low cloud and scattered mist or fog clear, the weather will become generally mostly clear, with locally increased cloud from midday onwards, mainly over the mountains.

Winds will initially blow from the sea and locally variable, weak, at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, weak to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slight in the west and smooth to slight elsewhere along the coast....
