Man barricades himself, threatens relatives with knife and gets disarmed by police

Members of MMAD carried out an operation in Polis Chrysochous yesterday afternoon to disarm a 31-year-old man who remained inside the home where he lives, holding a knife and threatening relatives who were in the house. The operation was ultimately completed through the unit’s successful intervention, after negotiations to persuade him to come out failed to produce a result.
