Limassol stabbing suspect remanded for eight days as victim names attacker

A court has ordered the eight-day remand of the 24-year-old suspect in the Kato Polemidia attempted murder case, after Limassol CID applied for his detention.

The suspect presented himself to Limassol CID at around 7:30am on Thursday, where he was arrested on an existing court warrant. He was subsequently brought before Limassol District Court, which approved the CID’s application and ordered his remand....
