Lifeguards save swimmer from drowning in Paphos rough seas

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) was placed on alert this morning after a report of a swimmer in difficulty in rough seas off Peyia. A police helicopter took off from Larnaca airport and headed to the area, but lifeguards had already reached the swimmer and brought him safely to shore.
