Israel’s supremely irritating cheek

A billboard for a candidate in Israel’s upcoming election has gone up on the Nicosia–Limassol motorway! The board is plastered with the candidate’s photo against an Israeli flag, with a slogan written in Hebrew. What exactly is this advert doing here? Running their election campaign in Cyprus now? Why? The state needs to step in and get this billboard taken down, immediately, and send a message while they’re at it: Cyprus is not their back garden!
