Fitto’s appointment as EU Cyprus envoy seen as institutional boost

The selection of Raffaele Fitto to become the EU’s special representative on the Cyprus issue is a political and institutional development. Fitto was one of the names President Nikos Christodoulides had put forward during discussions on the new European envoy.
