Cyprus weather warning as storms and hail forecast

Cyprus remains under unstable weather conditions on Sunday, with local rain and isolated storms expected in the mountains, parts of the southeast and inland areas, as the Meteorological Service issued a yellow weather warning.

The warning is in force from 11 am until 6 pm and concerns isolated strong storms in mountainous areas, parts of the southeast and the interior. Hail is expected during storms, while rainfall intensity may locally exceed 35 millimetres per hour....
