Cyprus schools to get social workers as pilot programme launches in September

Social workers will join teachers and students in starting the new school year this September. The move puts into practice the Education Ministry’s plan to place social workers in specific schools, where they will work alongside educational psychologists, offering support aimed at tackling violence and delinquency, and at strengthening children’s psychological resilience.
