Cyprus road deaths rise 9.8% in 2025 despite long-term progress, EU report finds

Cyprus recorded a 9.8% rise in road fatalities in 2025, even as the country achieved the 12th largest reduction in road deaths across the EU27 since 2019, according to the 20th annual Road Safety PIN Report published on Tuesday by the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC).
