Cyprus records eighth-hottest July since 1968

Cyprus issued either a yellow or an orange warning for “extreme” temperatures on 11 of July’s 31 days, yet the month ranked as only the eighth-hottest July since systematic records began in 1968, according to the Meteorological Department.
