Cyprus among EU’s lowest for renewable electricity, Eurostat data shows

Cyprus’s share of renewable energy in gross electricity consumption reached 27.5% in 2025, ranking among the lowest in the European Union, according to data published on Thursday by Eurostat.
Only four EU countries recorded lower shares: Malta at 11.2%, Czechia at 19.2%, Luxembourg at 23.3% and Slovakia at 24.1%....
