British Cypriot MP leaves govt role

British Cypriot member of parliament Nesil Caliskan on Thursday confirmed that she has left her position as parliamentary undersecretary of state for devolution, local growth, and communities, three days after Andy Burnham became the United Kingdom’s prime minister.
