Boys found dead were trapped in car for hours before windows smashed to free them

The Sovereign Base Areas Police have arrested a father and stepmother after two children, aged 8 and 10, were found dead inside a locked car in Xylofagou on Sunday afternoon.

The two boys, who had travelled to Cyprus in mid-May to spend the holidays with their father, were discovered locked inside a saloon car parked in a field next to the apartment block where the father and his partner lived. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene and attempted to resuscitate them, but it was too late....
