Both lanes of the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway closed due to fire (photos+videos)

Both lanes of the Nicosia-Larnaca motorway have been closed after a fire broke out in dry grass before the Rizoelias roundabout, past the Koshi area.

According to the Fire Service, the blaze spread to a number of trees within the motorway embankment boundary. Fire Service vehicles from the Larnaca Fire Service and the Department of Forests responded to the scene....
