Attempted murder in Nicosia as woman locked and badly beaten at Nicosia home

Acting on a tip off involving the serious injury of a 29 year old woman, authorities arrested a 36 year old man at dawn in connection with the investigation of a host of offences, including attempted murder, actions aimed at grievous bodily harm and kidnapping with the aim of causing grievous bodily harm as well as violence against women in accordance with relevant legislation.
